Data Mining Innovators is a webcast series organized by BPDM that connects top Innovators in Data Mining and related fields with the general community. Innovators participate in a 45 - 60 min live session, taking questions from BPDM interviewers and the broader online community. Adam Cheyer
Currently, Adam Cheyer is co-Founder and VP Engineering of Viv Labs, a startup simplifying the world by providing an intelligent interface to everything. Previously, Adam Cheyer was co-Founder and VP Engineering at Siri, Inc., a company aimed at fundamentally redesigning the face of the consumer mobile experience. In 2010, Siri was acquired by Apple, where Mr. Cheyer became a Director of Engineering in the iPhone/iOS group. Mr. Cheyer is is also a Founding Member and Advisor to Change.org, the premier social network for positive social change, and a co-Founder of Sentient Technologies.




Renee Teate
In addition to being full time staff at James Madison University, Renee independently started a blog featuring her experience while learning data science at http://www.becomingadatascientist.com/, . Before that, she also started her own database and software development company, which she still runs. More recently, she started a data science learning directory and recommendation system at http://www.datasciguide.com/. She is active on Twitter at https://twitter.com/becomingdatasci.
